5K Coventry Run

Posted on 11th September 2012 Written by Mark Warner

Here are some photos from the Coventry Big Fun Run.  The Coventry Big Fun Run was the first time I’d ever run 5K.  I had been training since May 2012, using a Couch to 5K training programme. I only reached week 6 of the training programme due to a series of injuries that halted my training a couple of times.

Despite the previous injuries in training I was able to complete the race, running the whole route non-stop in 32.04 minutes.  I have so far raised £300 for the Miscarriage Association, which I’m really pleased about.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me, either with advice, encouragement or donations.
